In the Exterior Hotel Category, a Bali architectural firm, Inspiral Architecture and Design Studios, has won a UNESCO Prix Versailles Award 2021, in both Continental Europe and Global Divisions.
The recognition as one of the world’s top sustainable architectural companies was presented in recognition of
the innovative design of the Ulaman Eco Retreat in Buwit, Tabanan, Bali. This is the first time an Indonesian company has won this prestigious award.
The Prix Versailles Honors is the world’s premier architecture and design award. Nominations and winners are based on the mantra: Inspiration, progress, and inclusion.
The awards are reserved for airports, campuses, passenger stations, sports facilities, shops and stores, shopping malls, and hotels.
The award for Inspiral’s Architects was bestowed in December 2021.
Inspiral Architecture and Design Studios, founded in Bali in 2009, has projects in Indonesia, Australia, the UK, Nepal, and India. The Bali company has a team of highly creative architects, engineers, and artisans. Their services include architectural design, interior design, MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) design, and structural engineering.
