Dinner, Music and Dance with the Solo Tango Orquesta from Russian at the Bali Padma Legian on Sunday, December 2, 2018

The Padma Resort Legian continues to amaze Bali music lovers with its next installment of superlative musical presentations on Sunday, December2, 2018 where the internationally renowned Solo Tango Orquesta will perform in a dinner concert.

After its founding in Moscow in 2010, the Solo Tango Orquesta dominates the very highest rankings of the World Tango Olympus, winning Castelfidardo Festival Internazionale della fisarmonica” in Italy and the XXXXVIII Klingenthal International Competition -Germany (2011). Moreover, Solo Tango Orchestra is the only European tango orchestra nominated to the First international “Premios Tango” - Buenos Aires (March 2018).

Solo Tango Orquesta has performed on the best concert stages of the world, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Moscow conservatory, Chaikovsky Concert Hall, Seoul National Theater, Moscow International House of the Music, Grand Concert Hall St. Petersburg, and the Admiralpalast Berlin.

Solo Tango also performs a sold-out concert subscription series in Moscow rotating among the

Moscow Philharmonic Society and Moscow International Music House.

Critics have described the Solo Tango Orquesta as possessing a perfect sense of style, powerful energy and high quality performance.

The Performers

Alexander Ryazanov – violin:  (34) began playing at the age of four taught by his mother who is the head of the Norilsk Musical College. After graduating from music school, Alexander continued his musical studies at renowned musical schools and academies under leading Russian violists.

Artem Timin – piano: (28) is originally from Kirov. Precociously talented he won various international piano competitions from the earliest age winning wide-ranging performance and academic honors.

Ilya Alpeev – contrabass: (30) was born in Kurgan. Immediately after graduating from music school, he switched from piano to bass at the Kurgan Regional Music College. In 2009, Ilya entered the Moscow State Conservatory named after Tchaikovsky and continued his studies with Professor Kekshoeva. While studying at the Conservatoire Ilya performed in many concerts, performing in both solo and in chamber ensembles. 

Pavel Ratynsky – accordion:  (27)  Ratynsky began playing the accordion at the age of four. He is the winner of more than thirty Russian and international contests..

The Sunday, December 2, 2018 concert begins with gala dinner service at 6:30 pm followed by the concert at 8:30 pm.

Tickets are available at Rp. 580,000 ++ for a degustation menu prepared by the Padma’s Executive Chef Degan. Dinner including paired wines costs Rp. 780,000 ++.
