Do it in the Dark Takes a Toll

Important Notice: Bali Toll Road to be Closed for Eight Hour Starting at Midnight, Sunday, September 30, 2018

Bali’s Mandara Toll Road connecting Sanur-Airport-Nusa Dua will be closed for eight hours to all traffic from midnight until 8:00 am on Sunday, September 30, 2018 to accommodate the Mandiri Badung International Night Run (MBINR).

The race is sponsored by the Indonesian Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) working in cooperation with the Regency of Badung, the Ministry of Tourism, Ministry for State-owned Companies, and Bank Mandiri.

The MBINR 2018 will be the first “night marathon” held in Bali using the Bali Mandara Toll Road.

The race will be conducted in five categories: a full marathon (42 km), half marathon (21 km), 10 km, 5 km, and 3 km distances.

Rp. 500 million in prize money is at stake in the event at which 3,000 participants are expected to participate.

Visitors to Bali should expect some traffic disruption from 0:00 until 8:00 am on Sunday, September 30, 2018.
