Running From the Virus: Superleague Triathlon in Bali Postponed

BCA Super League Triathlon Bali Postponed until June 13-14, 2020 Due to Corona Virus

The State News Agency Antara and detik.com report that an international sporting event scheduled for Bali in mid-June is postponed due to the novel coronavirus.

The organizers formally confirmed the postponement of the BCA Super League Triathlon Bali 2020 schedule to be held at Nusa Dua (ITDC) April 3-5, 2020. The event, expected to attract International Super League Champion Chris McCormack and national triathlete Ashita Aulia Azzahra, has been moved to the new dates of June 13-14, 2020.

In a formal statement by the organizers, they said the decision to postpone the event reflects their focus on the safety and welfare of the participating athletes, staff, spectators, and the many volunteers assisting the race.

Athletes who have already registered for the April dates will have their registration automatically transferred to the new dates in June or are, alternatively, eligible for a full refund paid directly to the registrant.

The deadline for requesting refunds is March 8, 2020. After that date, the registrations will be moved to the new date of June 13 -14, 2020.

Similarly, the official accommodation partner of BCA Super League Triathlon Ayodya Bali Resort, Nusa Dua, will transfer any existing accommodation booking to the new dates without additional charge.
