Three men suspected of involvement in large-scale corruption in how parking fees were handled at Bali’s Ngurah Rai Airport were flown from Jakarta to Bali on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, to meet with Denpasar Prosecutors.
No less than 10 officials from the Prosecutor’s Office accompanied the men suspected of stealing Rp. 28 billion (US$2.34 million) in parking fees while operating the Airport’s parking concession on their trip from Jakarta.
Prosecutors now say the evidentiary files are complete and they are prepared to proceed to trial.
One of the men charged in the crime is Indra Pura Barnoza (26) who held the job of general manager at PT Panata Sarana Bali – the company holding the concession for the Bali Airport.
The second man charged is Rudi Jhonson Sitorus (31) worked as an administrator for the parking company.
The third man going to trial is Mikhael Maksi (42) operational manager at PT Panata Sarana Bali.
A fourth man wanted in the case, Cris Wisnu Sedana, is still being sought by police.
The three men are being held at Bali’s Kerobokan Prison while they await trial at the Denpasar District Court.
