Kerry Pendergrast – a long-time resident of Bali and co-proprietor with her husband, Pranoto, of Pranoto's Gallery in Ubud died suddenly on Monday night, November 25, 2013, in Sanur, Bali.

Painter, singer and art studio operator - Kerry was married to Pranoto and mother of two children.

Born in Perth, Western Australia, Kerry Pendergrast first pursued theater and music which drew her to Bali where she met her future husband an Indonesian artist.

In Ubud, Pendergrast began developing as an artist, attending and organizing model sessions at Pranato's Art Gallery that she established with her husband, Pranato, in 1996. Since her first solo exhibition more than a decade ago, she  held many exhibitions in Indonesia and Australia.

She has exhibited her work internationally throughout Australasia exhibiting drawings in pastels and acrylics. She was also known for her representations of the human form, pioneering, with her husband in Ubud, weekly life drawing classes.

Pendergrast was singing at an event in Sanur when she collapsed and died a short time later.

Her remains were cremated at Taman Mumbil on Thursday, November 28, 2013.
