Kicking off the Bali Spirit Festival, an amazing line up of yogis, teachers and performers from around the globe will convene in Bali at the Desa Seni Eco Village Resort to lead inspirational yoga classes, meditations, and dance and movement practices.

Desa Seni Eco Village Resort is a boutique eco resort in Canggu. At the heart of Desa Seni is an emphasis on community involvement and sustainability.

Donations secured from the Desa Seni event will be donated to the Ayo Kita Bicara HIV/AIDS – a program that promotes awareness of AIDS through a series of workshops aimed at Balinese youth. Previous Yoga-Thons have raised over $45,000 for this worthy cause. A goal of $10,000 has been targeted for this year’s event

Designed to accommodate families, the event runs from 8:00 am – 9:00 pm on March 16th with classes taking place simultaneously across two yoga shalas and a poolside pavilion, including separate areas for kids activities.

Gathering together Bali’s yoga community and international guests, this years line up includes Tara Judelle, Kundalini with Daphna Dor, Hoop dancing with Jocelyn Gordon, Ecstatic Dance with Ellen Watson, Radiantly Alive Yoga with Daniel Aaron, Les Leventhal and Danny Paradise. There will be a poolside fashion parade, art installations, astrology readings, a buffet lunch provided by Desa Seni, with the day concluding with a Masala Bhangra class conducted by Sarina Jain.

Tickets cost only Rp. 200,000 (US$16) and can be purchased at Bungalow, Green Ginger, Yoga Barn, Radiantly Alive, Jiwa Bikram Yoga, Folk Art and Desa Seni.

Ticket can also be purchased at door on March 16, 2014.

Participants are invited to recruit as many sponsors as possible in order to help raise more money and spread awareness.
