Lufthansa German Airlines have resumed flights five times a week to Jakarta, effective March 30, 2104.
The flights originate in Frankfurt and include a short stopover in Kuala Lumpur.
“We are delighted to be offering our passengers direct flights to Jakarta again and even more flights to Kuala Lumpur. Indonesia and Malaysia are important countries for business and leisure travel and we are confident that our customers will appreciate the new travel opportunities to south-east Asia and enjoy using them,” said Kay Kratky, member of the Lufthansa German Airlines Board for Operations & Hub Frankfurt.
Lufthansa will operate each day Thursday through Mondays (5 days a week), and will land in Jakarta at 6:20 in time for evening through connections to Bali - a 1.5 hour flight from Indonesia’s capital.
Similarly, the return flight leaves Jakarta 7:35 pm making for easy connection with any of a large number of domestic services flying each day from Denpasar (Bali).
The service is operated by Airbus 340-600 aircraft with 326 seats comprised of 8 First Class, 48 Business Class and 270 Economy Class.
Flights operate on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
LH782 leaves Frankfurt at 10:05 pm landing in Kuala Lumpur at 4:05 pm the following day. The flight resumes its journey leaving Kuala Lumpur at 5:25 pm landing in Jakarta at 6:20pm.
The return trip on LH783 leaves Jakarta at 7:35 pm landing in Kuala Lumpur at 10:35 pm. The flight takes off from Kuala Lumpur at 11:55 pm before landing in Frankfurt the following morning at 6:25 pm.
