The Bali chapter of the Indonesian Guide Association (HPI) is complaining that it is difficult to recruit guides with Arab language abilities.
“At this time we have fifteen language division, but we would like to complete our list of languages with the addition of guides competent in the Arabic language,” explained the vice-chairman of the HPI-Bali, Nyoman Yohanes and quoted in Bisnis Bali.
Requests for HPI licensed guides with Arabic language skills remain unanswered for potential Bali visitors.
Although the number of Arabic speaking tourists to Bali remains relatively low, those that do visit have very high levels of average spending.
