“Hai Flyer” – claimed to be the “most advanced parasailing boat operating in the region" has just been formally launched by Bali Hai Cruise. A custom-built 11.5 meter fiberglass boat powered by two 250 horse-power Suzuki engines and outfitted with a space-age safety and control system and a sophisticated camera system will combine to create a lasting memory of the “Hai Flyer” experience.

Those along for the ride are towed aloft under a 36-foot parasail capable of safely carrying up to three full sized adults over one hundred feet into the air at one time. Impressively, this is only possible by using the same rope NASA uses on its manned space missions.

Operated by a crew trained by Australia Parasail, participants enjoy an unrivaled 360-degree view of Nusa Lembongan and its surrounding seas. Guests can capture their flight with pictures or video via an onboard HD camera independently controlled by each flyer, the first of its type in Indonesia.

“Everything about this boat has been built with quality in mind to give future flyers the most immersive experience possible,” says Andrew Sutherland, Bali Hai General Manager.

An 8-10 minute ride costs US$25 for a solo single flight, US$45 for a tandem ride and US$65 for threesome ride.

Trips can be purchased and booked on board Bali Hai Cruise, on the Pontoon and the Bali Hai Beach Club.
