Bali Institute for Global Renewal has announced that the internationally renowned award-winning youth choir, VOENA, will conclude a five-concert program of performance in Bali with a final performance on Friday, June 26, 2015 at in Tabanan Puri Taman Sari, Dusun Umabian, Desa Penek, Kecamatan Marga.
Numbering 45 member, VOENA’s members range between 7-18 years of age all hailing from the State of California. VOENA has performed on numerous occasions at The White House before several U.S. presidents. The youth choir also performed at the London Summer Olympics in 2012, the opening ceremonies of the Special Olympics in 2010 and 2011, at the International Soweta Festival in South Africa.
Admission to the Friday, June 26th concert is free of charge and commences at 7:00 pm.

Bali Institute for Global Renewal (BIGR), is the largest provider of American educational programs held in Bali providing cultural immersion and service-based learning opportunities. Over the past twelve years, BIGR has brought more than 3,000 people of all ages to learn first-hand about Balinese culture and experience the values and deep learning unique to Bali.
On June 28-July 27, 2015, BIGR will host 40 American students & faculty members from the University of California-Irvine for a 5-week program focused on public health and alternative medicine.
In June 2015 BIGR hosted 15 students and faculty from Southern Methodist University in Texas who spent 2 weeks in Ubud on an annual arts and music program.
In July, more than 35 junior and senior high school students from around the world will join the Global Leadership Adventures program offering leadership and service training.
In September a group of aboriginal university students from University of Western Australia will be hosted by BIGR for an Australian government-funded program on indigenous wisdom.
