After spending 6 eventful years as the General Manager at The Legian Bali, in which he supervised the opening the The Club at The Legian and The Chedi Club at Tanah Gajah, Hansjoerg Meier is leaving Bali to assume a new GHM posting as the man in charge at The Setai in Miami, Flordia (USA).

Tomoka Runs Away with the Chef

Also attending the farewell cocktail were two other members of the GHM Bali team scheduled for imminent departure from Bali. Following 5 years in which she opened The Chedi Club at Tanah Gajah, the very popular Tomoka Yamamoto is also leaving her post. During her Bali assignment Tomoka not only acquired the experience of working in Bali but also a new last name of "Nguyen," courtesy of her newly "acquired" husband, Danish celebrity Chef Nam Nguyen.

Both Nam and Tomoka will be leaving Bali at the end of April and moving to Bangkok where Chef Nguyen has accepted a position at The Sukhotai.
