After two decades of a highly successful career as a composer/producer that earned him seven Emmy awards and six ASCAP awards for his work in film and television, commercials and CD productions - award winning Gary Malkin decided to take his music to a higher level. Determined to use his talents to serve humanity, Malkin now focuses on supporting film and TV projects spreading a message of tolerance, environmental protection, children's welfare and interfaith cooperation.

A well know speaker and performer, Malkin recently acted as musical director for Voices from 9-11: A Gathering of Faith, Hope and Love held at the Washington National Cathedral.

A Special Evening in Bali with Gary Malkin

Alison Chester and her husband, Yanto, are opening their home in Canggu to Gary Malkin and 100 guests for an evening of food, drink and fund-raising on behalf of 18 children who live at the Jodie O'Shea Orphanage. Named in honor of a young Australian woman who died in the Bali bombing of October 2002, the orphanage represents the single hope for a productive future to all the children who live there.

balidiscovery.com readers are encouraged to help make a difference by joining a special evening at Alison and Yanto's villa near Bali's Tugu Hotel in Canggu on Friday, May 12, 2006. Dinner, wines, and entertainment by Gary Malkin are available for Rp. 500,000 per person (approximately US$ 55.55). The fun begins at 7:30 p.m..
