On Friday, December 22, 2006, Krispy Kreme - the American doughnut franchise opened its first outlet in Bali at the Discovery Mall in Kuta.
Operated by the Indonesian franchisee of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts - PT Premier Doughnut Indonesia, the Bali outlet is one of 20 outlets of the world-famous pastry maker set to be open across Indonesia.
Traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE:KKD), Krispy Kreme does not have an ownership position in the Indonesian franchise which is principally owned by PT MAP Indonesia.
