PT GMF AeroAsia the aviation maintenance wing of Garuda Indonesia has earned international certification from the US Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
That Garuda has passed rigorous standards for aviation security systems was confirmed after an inspection visit to the GMF facility by the TSA in Jakarta, conducted August 19-21, 2008.
The spokesperson for GMF, Dwi Prasmono Adji, told Tempo Interactive, "the TSA statement will help GMF in gaining trust from US customers."
