Western Australia Today reports that seven Miss Universe finalists will leave Perth on Monday, April 20, 2009, to vie for the Miss Australia crown.
And, if these already stunning ladies appear tanner, fitter and are perhaps radiating an extra glow on the Sydney catwalk that may be attributable to a four-day Bali beauty boot camp provided them by the Western Australia organizers of the competition.
The Bali beauty regimen included pampering spa sessions, intense physical workouts, tanning and boxing lessons (a new event introduced at beauty pageants in the event of a tie-breaker).
During their Bali stay, the contestants luxuriated at the [Karma Kandara Private Villas].
While in Bali, the lovely ladies also polished their knowledge of current events and public speaking skills.
The ladies will compete in the Miss Australia finals on Wednesday, April 22, 2009.
