Celebrating the rich Cultural life of the island of Bali, "Bali is my Life" is the compelling branding campaign launched several years ago by the Bali Hotel Association (BHA) in their effort to restore market confidence and demonstrate to the world that the cultural charms upon which Bali's international reputation rests remain vital and intact.
Communicating Balinese life among the island's rice fields, beaches and handicraft industry - the tag line presented actual members of the island's communicating a shared themes:
• A young dancer, whose mother was a dancer, as was her grandmother and a great grandmother who ranked as Bali's oldest performing dancer! Her message: "Dancing is in my blood but Bali is my Life!"
• A mask carver whose family has lived and worked in the same compound for 800 years. His message: "Carving is my heritage but Bali is my Life"
Other Balinese - an artist, a masseuse, a professional chef, a surfer, a farmer and a schoolgirl each their story of daily life in Bali.
Warmly received both at home and abroad, the "Bali is my Life" campaign is about to be launched in its second incarnation featuring a new series or characters: a princess, an architect, a stone carver, a rafter and a restaurant owner.
The grand launching of the 2nd phase of "Bali is my Life" is set for June 12, 2010 at a gala dinner at the Nikko Bali Resort and Spa presented by BHA backed by Now!Bali magazine , Bali Golf and Country Club and Nikko Resort and Spa
