On Friday, October 1, 2010, The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali hosted its lavish and sophisticated annual "Heavenly Bed" party to say thank you to the island's travel industry for their continuing support.
Themed as the "Celebration of a New Tomorrow," the
Westin's Nusantara Room was physically transformed while a range of tempting cuisine, drinks and wine were served. A speech of "thanks" by the Resort's General Manager, Bipan Kapur, punctuated an evening of live musical performance, magic acts and a dazzling dance performance by Bali's world-renowned
Nyoman Sura Dance Company.Over US$4,100 was raised during the evening for the
Westin's Check Out for Kids via the auction of hotel stays at affiliate hotels across the region and a much sought-after king-sized Heavenly Bed®.
