Two Nights of Contemporary Dance by 'OnStage' at Geok's in Singapadu, Bali November 19 & 20, 2010.

On Stage will present an rare and exciting evening of contemporary dance at Geok's in Singapadu (approximately 200 meters from the Bali Bird Park, between the 2M Restaurant and Aussie Garden) on Friday and Saturday, November 19 & 20, 2010, each evening from 8:00 – 9:30 pm.

Entitled "Flight No. 12" the program of dance will feature the works of Fitri Setyanningsih, one of Indonesia's most creative and prolific dancers and choreographers.

Among the other artists featured will be:

Jane Chen, a martial and performing artist who utilizes dance as her alchemical expression. Her work is inspired by Noviana Kusuma Wardhani - giving birth to her composition "Dialogue with the Moon."

Dek Geh earned his B.A. degree in Dance in Bali in 2001. In 2004, he was selected as an actor-dancer for the I La Galigo epic performance that toured the world.

Le Ann Erikson brings a beautifully delicate voice, flute and crystal bowls playing that perform in musical collaborations with Barok (Saharaja) who performs on Indian musical instruments. In sound, scents and motion they merge with perfect synergy.

Also appearing will be Maria Yulita, Dwirima Prabowo, Yasmin JP Bohn and Raditya Santoso.

Tickets are on sales for each evening at Rp. 120,000 (US$13) and Rp. 100,000 (US$11).
