Address Hotels and Resorts, a division of the Emaar Hospitality Group, have announced the signing of a management contract for a new property in Bali - The Address, The Terrace Ė Bali to be built at the Pecatu Indah Resort on the island's southernmost peninsula.
The Address Hotels and Resorts was established in 2008 and operates five commercial and hotel properties in Dubai with an additional eight hotels in development worldwide.
Marc Dardenne, the CEO of The Address Hotels and Resorts has signed a management contract with Haryono Eddyarto, president director of PT Teras Nirwana Bali, the owners of the new property.
Dardenne revealed that the Bali resort will have 199 rooms and is scheduled for completion in 2012, timed to be ready to receive delegates attending the APEC Bali Conference in 2013.
Quoted in Emaar.com, Dardenne said: "The management contract to operate The Address, The Terrace - Bali marks a new chapter in the evolution of The Address Hotels and Resorts brand as we make our foray into Asia. With five world-class hotels in Dubai and management contracts to operate luxury resorts in Morocco and France, we have already established our clear differential in hotel operation with a focus on a one-size-fits-one strategy and our commitment to ensure tangible benefits for guests."
Dardenne is no stranger to Bali, previously working for a stint as the General Managers of the Ritz-Carlton Bali Resort, now rebranded as The AYANA Resort.
Contracts for the construction of the new property are currently in the process of being awarded.
