Bali's governor Made Mangku Pastika has set aside 15 days as local holidays in Bali observed by Balinese Hindus in addition to the 13 officially declared national holidays and 4 shared holidays celebrated by the entire Indonesian populace in 2011.
The local "Bali Holidays" are set aside for Hindus to undertake observances specific to their religious beliefs.
