David Wolfe, a leading authority on natural health, beauty, nutrition, herbals, chocolate, and organic foods and the author of Superfoods: The Food and Medicine of the Future and Naked Chocolate, will present a lecture and chocolate event at Bali's Fivelments Puri Ahimsa on March 12, 2011.

A leader in the field of vegan cuisine and natural nutrition, David Wolfe has dedicated more than 15 years to understanding the inner workings, delicate chemistry, and the mechanics of the human body and its interaction with raw food. The founder of several green and eco-friendly businesses, Wolfe is internationally renowned for his passion to share knowledge on the consumption of high quality, organic "super-foods" and healthy-lifestyle related products.

Also referred to as a "gourmet chocolatier," Wolfe is a passionate proponent of the healing and beautifying power of raw chocolate (cacao beans). By bringing cacao beans and nibs into mainstream distribution, Wolfe also continues to promote the economies of indigenous cultures such as Bali's, through ethical business practice.

Wolfe's March 12th event in Bali, "The Astonishing Truth About the World's Greatest Food" will be conducted at Fivelements, Puri Ahimsa in Mambal near Ubud. The recently opened offers eco-conscious accommodation, beauty and healing arts programs. The retreat has gained recognition for its vegan dining room Sakti, - a multi-level bamboo restaurant set amongst fishponds and the Ayung River presided over by Made Runatha, a Balinese chef who trained at California's famed Living Light Culinary Arts Institute, the world's most recognized raw vegan cuisine school.

"Having David give his talk and chocolate event here at Sakti is in perfect harmony with who we are and what we wish to achieve in the future," said Fivelement's co-founder Chicco Tatriele.

"David's a captivating speaker and the setting here at Sakti is ideal for the three-hour talk, followed by a raw vegan dinner and, of course, a chocolate party that will take us into the evening," said Tatriele.
