Bali's Provincial Government Explores Powering Street Light with Solar Panels.

Beritabali.com reports that the province of Bali is striving to go green and clean by considering how to power street lights with solar energy panels.
The current study to consider the viability of such a plan is tied with approaches to the government from several investors who have expressed a desire to help Bali install the energy-saving devices.
The head of the Public Works Department for Bali, Dewa Putu Punia Asa, confirmed that Bali will be installing solar panels on street lights in specific areas on a trial basis. At the same time the island's administrators will continue discussions with potential investors offering solar energy alternatives.
The preliminary test-zone for the new solar-panel street lights will be in the area surrounding the governor's office complex in Bali.
