Record Numbers Registered for 5th Annual Biznet Bali International Triathlon June 26, 2011.

With less than three months to race day, the Biznet Bali International Triathlon 2011 reports pre-race registrations are running 30% ahead of last year for the event known as "the Triathlon for the Soul."

BIZNET Bali International Triathlon Event Director, Andreas Kansil is well pleased with the record level of interest for the Bali event which includes swimming, cycling and running among the scenic beauty of Bali's southernmost Ungasan peninsula. Returning athletes who are bringing friends and family to join the race are central to the growing popularity of the event, with Kansil adding: "I think many people are really curious about doing the race this year because we've successfully put together a challenging course with a very unique Balinese setting. The newly added sprint distance course that is also attracting more new triathletes from around the region."

More good news for the organizers of the BIZNET Bali International Triathlon comes from the three-time Olympian and Indonesian swimming legend Richard Sam Bera, who is set to return in this year's Biznet Bali International Triathlon. Bera, who is the editor-in-chief of FHM Magazine Indonesia and a former TV sports anchor, will be competing in the Olympic Distance individual category. Joining Bera this year is the multi-talented Indonesian pop singer, Denada Tambunan, who is sharing her preparations as an individual triathlete through her Twitter account @d3nada

Her first triathlete event- the artist, more commonly known as Dena has expressed her excitement at tackling the more than 50 km Olympic Distance course.

Biznet Bali International Triathlon has also signed a new partnership with Fatigon Hydro - a leading Indonesian isotonic product naming it as the official beverage of the event. Fatigon Hydro, joins an impressive line up supporting sponsors that include Bali InterContinetal Resort, Four Seasons Resort at Jimbaran Bay, AYANA Resort and Spa, Bali Hotel Association, Rodalink, Jari Menari, Jenggala Ceramics and BIMC Hospital.
