Anticipating hosting the first group at the new expansive and modern convention center to open in Bali, Desiria Wright, General Manager, said: “We are excited to have the opportunity to host our first event on July 13-14, 2011 from the Indonesian Ministry of Environment. They are going to host their national meeting on Environmental Impact Assessment for up to 1,000 people. We have conducted a lot of internal training for the past few months and our team is ready to extend their service to make this meeting successful and memorable for its participants.”

BNDCC has two lobby entrances. The East Lobby, considered the main entrance open onto an area of 1,120 square meters and the South Lobby adjoining a 700 square meter space. Both serve as pre-function areas suitable for cocktails, coffee breaks or as exhibition space.

The Nusa Dua Convention Hall, located on the ground floor, can be divided into 5 sections and accommodate up to 5,000 guests in a -theaterstyle setting or host a gala dinner for 2,800 seated at round tables of ten. 9-meter ceilings create a spacious environment. Well-conceived and attractively-presented electrical access points in combination with facility-wide wireless Internet access have been installed with the demands of “connected” exhibitors and conference delegates in mind.

The “Uluwatu Rooms” consist of 7 smaller meeting rooms, ranging in capacity from 100 to 240 guests

On the Mezzanine floor, a total of 8 Kintamani Meeting Rooms cater for up to 260 guests seated in theater setting or 130 in a classroom set-up. The pre- function area in Kintamani Lobby provides 1,400 square meters of space for luncheons, exhibitions or other events.

The Nusa Dua Terrace located on the top floor covers at 1,800 square meters with three small offices available to serve as secretariats for conference organizers.

BNDCC has also been selected as the official venue for the ASEAN Summit and East Asia Summit on November 17-19, 2011.
