Officially opened on 27th July 1998, BIMC Hospital just celebrated its 13th anniversary.
To mark becoming a teenager, the BIMC Hospital organized a range of activities including the release of sea turtles on Kuta Beach in Bali. On July 25, 2011, BIMC Hospital invited all staff members to gather on Kuta Beach to participate in the release. The occasion started at 4.30 p.m. with a brief speech about the sea turtles by Agung, the founder of the sea turtle conservation program in Bali where is popularly referred to as “Mr. Turtle.”
To assist in the preservation of the threatened turtle populations in the world’s oceans, a donation from
BIMC Hospital was also presented by Deddy Suhartawan, Sales & Marketing Manager,
BIMC Hospital.
Then, at 5:00 p.m. with more than 50 staff taking a hand, a large group of turtles we released into the surf. Spectators and passersby were enjoined by
BIMC Hospital staff to join in the activity.
As part of the anniversary celebrations, a party was held on July 31, 2011, attended by
BIMC Hospital staff, some staff members from supporting hotels, and the
BIMC management team. The party kicked off with a speech from
BIMC Hospital’s CEO, Craig Beveridge and a presentation awards for outstanding employees.
Prizes and gifts were presented to the hard working team at the
BIMC Hospital donated by Bali business.
