100 students from the Bali International Tourism Institute (STPBI) and the Bali Hotel School (SPB) will soon be embarking for the U.S.A. for a period of training at the Four Seasons Resort at Jackson Hole in the state of Wyoming, U.S.A..
Using a special work-study JI class of visa, the students are able to work at train in one of America’s leading boutique properties
The successful program saw 30 students from Bali train at the hotel last year, paving the way for an expanded program in the current year.
A similar program has recently sent 24 Bali hospitality students to a period of work training at The Setai Hotel in Miami, Florida, U.S.A..
Quoted in The Bali Post, the chairman of the STPBI and SPB, Made Sujana, lauded the program, saying: “We urge the students to train abroad. In this way they get added international experience and earn a work experience certificate from a starred property."
