The W Retreat & Spa Bali – Seminyak is kicking off Bali’s high season by hosting SPF 2012 - Sip, Play, Flirt - a music festival featuring top DJ talent from around the world July 18-21, 2102.
In conjunction with
W Hotels Worldwide & burn DJ Labs, each night of the 4-day music-fest will see guests entertained during sunset hours at locations around the Retreat and, later in the evenings at
WooBar.
On July 21, the festival will culminate in a
WET Deck pool party where 12 international DJs will perform, starting from 3:00 p.m. The evening wraps with a spectacular firework & light show at 10 pm. For those that still want to mix & mingle, the party continues downstairs at
WooBar.
Michaelangelo L’Acqua, Global Brand Music Director for
W Hotels Worldwide, has handpicked the leading up & coming Talent for a
W Hotel Global Tour. The selected DJs cover all genres of music coming from all corners of the globe, ranging from Los Angeles, Istanbul, Sao Paulo, Berlin, London to Seoul.
To compile the talented group of leading DJs,
W Hotels and burn DJ Lab held an online competition where voters choose the final DJ to represent Asia (Seoul).
Headliners for the
SPF 2012 event on July 21 include Rob Garza of
Thievery Corporation and Jason Bentley, Music Director of
KCRW Radio (Los Angeles).
