The U Agathis Pecatu Bali Hotel has named Didier Gourmaud as general manager effective July 18, 2012.
A French national, Gourmaud has a long and distinguished career as an hotelier working in a variety of roles with hotels in Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Past employers have included the InterContinental Hotel Group and Hilton.
Gouraud’s last position was a resident manager at the InterContinental in Muscat, Oman.
The U Agathis Pecatu Bali is in the midst of a rebranding by U Hotels and Absolute Hotel Services Group. The 190-room resort is the former Le Grande Bali located in the Pecatu Indah Resort Complex adjacent to the New Kuta Golf Course.
