Seeking Sensation at Bali Hai Cruises

Bali Hai Cruises Now Managing Sails Sensation Cruise

Bali News: Seeking Sensation at Bali Hai Cruises

(10/21/2012)

Bali Hai Cruises – the operator of a number of day and evening cruises in Bali and Nusa Lembongan have announced assumption of the day-to-day operation of the Sail Sensations vessel and its range of cruise products effective October 10, 2012.

The motorized sailing catamaran Sail Sensations is 27-meters long and 12-meters wide, capable of carrying 110 day passengers.

In taking over the management of the popular day cruise vessel, Bali Hai Cruises have issued asurances that all contracts and commercial arrangements with local and overseas agents remain in effect.

Salis Sensations current program of departures remains unchanged.

Operated under a long-term charter between the owners of Sail Sensation (PT Nusa Lembongan Resort) and Bali Hai Cruises (PT Bali Cruises Nusantara), the Sail Sensations product joins the Bali Hai range of luxury day and dinner cruises, ocean rafting experiences and existing sailing trips with the Aristocat.

Dick Chandler, managing director, Bali Hai Cruises, explained the negotiation process with Sail Sensation’s owners, saying: “After careful consideration and full confidence in Bali’s tourism growth we reached a satisfactory commercial agreement. The 110-seat vessel will greatly assist our endeavors to attract MICE and GIT business to Bali”.

Recently appointed general manager of Bali Hai Cruises, Andrew Sutherland, added: ” We are very excited at the prospect of adding another vessel to our established fleet. This reinforces our commitment to being the regional leader in Marine Tourism.”

Commenting further, Bali Hai’s marketing director, Pande Ardika, contributed: “This positive move will give Bali Hai increased flexibility and will also enhance the capability of the company to enter new markets.”

Key operational staff members from Sail Sensations will continue in their current positions under the Bali Hai Cruise management.

Sail Sensations guests will continue to utilize the Anchorage Resort on Lembongan Island. While the product will remain separate from current Bali Hai Cruise products, the internal operation and day-to-day activity will under Bali Hai Cruises’ control.
