Bali Hai Cruises Earns Food Safe® Certification from Environmental Health Australia
Bali’s leading day cruise operator – Bali Hai Cruises have won Food Safe® certification from Environmental Health Australia (EHA).
The certification was awarded after conclusively demonstrating via an audit process that best practice food handling; food hygiene and staff training procedures are in place.
In winning the certification, Bali Hai Cruises worked with ProMicro Bali who guided the cruise company through the audit and program implementation process.
Prior to final certification an external auditor from Australia visited Bali Hai Cruises at Benoa after which a recommendation was issued to EHA for the granting of official Food Safe®“Certification.
By having a food safety program in place based on Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point Principles (HACCP), Bali Hai Cruises has demonstrated their professionalism and commitment to food safety.
HACCP requires Bali Hai Cruises to:
• Identify each stage of its food processing;
• Identify what can go wrong at each stage; and
• Put in place actions that prevent problems from happening
