Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company has announced plans to re-establish their brand on the island of Bali with the opening of The Ritz Carlton, Bali in 2014.
The Ritz-Carlton Bali disappeared from the Island’s litany of internationally branded hotels with the termination in 2009 of the management contract for its Jimbaran property now operating as the AYANA Resort and Spa, Bali.
The reincarnation of the Ritz-Carlton brand in Bali will be owned by PT Oriental Indah Bali Hotel Company. Design of the hotels will be undertaken by Burega Farnell.
Ritz-Carlton Bali will have It will have 90 suites, 14 villas and 10 cliff top villas offering ocean views from its Sawagan location in South Bali.
The Resort will also feature two wedding chapels, a ballroom and three syndicate rooms for private meetings.
Six restaurants and bars, including a unique beach side restaurant with a cliff-side cave that will function as a private dining room, will also form part of the Ritz-Carlton Bali Hotel offering to Island visitors.
