Bali’s Trans Sarbagita Bus Network is scheduled to expand its current service network to include Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport on July 1, 2013.
As quoted by the State News Agency Antara, the chief of the Transportation, Information and Communications Agency for Bali, Dewa Punia Asa, said on June 29, 2013, “In accordance with requests from the public, on July 1st we will operate what we have to serve a route to the airport.”
He said the new route to the airport would initially use 10 medium-sized buses on Corridor II traveling from Batubulan via Denpasar to the Airport on the way to the end of the line at Garuda Wisnu Kencana Monument.
During the ongoing renovation of Bali Airport a temporary halte will be used while awaiting the completion of construction work when a permanent location for the airport bus stop will be established.
