Bali Visitors Stayed Only 3.12 days in May 2013


Bali News: Meanwhile, foreign tourists stayed only 2.70 days in May 2013 in the regency of Karangasem, 2.39 days in Gianyar and 1.96 days in Buleleng.

Bisnis Bali reports that foreign and domestic tourists holidaying in Bali in May 2103 stayed an average of 3.12 days in star-rated hotels.


Gede Suarsa, the chief of the Bali office of the Center for Statistics (BPS), said that the average length of stay declined 0.18 percentage points from April when the length-of-stay was 3.30 days.
 
Foreign visitors stayed slightly longer than domestic visitor to Bali. Foreign tourists stayed 3.21 days in May 2013 as compared to just 2.89 days for domestic visitors.

  • Foreign visitors staying at one-star hotels in Bali in May 2013 stayed 3.06 day.
  •  Domestic visitors staying at one-star hotels in Bali in May 2013 stayed 3.13 days.
  • Foreign visitors staying in two-star hotels in Bali in May 2013 stayed 2.75 days.
  • Domestic visitors staying at two-star hotels in Bali in May 2013 stayed 2.14 days.
  • Foreign visitors staying in three-star hotels in Bali in May 2013 stayed 3.35 days.
  • Domestic visitors staying at three-star hotels in Bali in May 2013 stayed 3.18 days.
  • Foreign visitors staying in four-star hotels in Bali in May 2013 stayed 3.42 days.
  • Domestic visitors staying at four-star hotels in Bali in May 2013 stayed 2.64 days.
  • Foreign visitors staying in five-star hotels in Bali in May 2013 stayed 3.12 days.
  • Domestic visitors staying at five-star hotels in Bali in May 2013 stayed 3.00 days.
 
Gede Suarsa also reported that in May 2013 247,972 foreign tourism visitors came to Bali, a 12.36% increases as compared to May 2012.
