Martin Kelly of Traveltrends.biz recently gave a frank but fare appraisal of the Island of Bali in an article [Bali, Hi - Market on the Precipice] .
Obviously concerned, but still very pro-Bali, Kelly reviews traffic congestion, out-of-control hotel development, the luxury hotel sector, insane pricing within the hotel sector, lack of product and destination differentiation, Bali’s new airport, cost of food and drink, and Bali’s iconic Kuta beachfront.
Kelly concludes: “Bali is under pressure and its future as a long-term quality tourism destination uncertain. But it's still a great place to take a holiday!”
