Bali’s Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort welcomed 129 Miss World Contestants who stayed at the resort facing the iconic Tanah Lot Temple September 2-6, 2013.

The bevy of beauties stayed at the 103-hectare resort and golf complex as part of the lead-up to the gala evening and the selection of the next Miss World to take place on September 28, 2013.
The stay by the contestants and organizers allowed all to enjoy the comprehensive range of facilities serving as an introduction to the beautiful island of Bali and Indonesia.
contestants received a traditional Balinese welcome from an indigenous rindik
(Balinese bamboo musical instrument). During their stay, the contestants engaged in dress rehearsals as well as photo shoots and filming at the resort, against breathtaking backdrops of sunsets along the majestic Indian Ocean and the exotic Tanah Lot Temple.

will be screened during the live broadcast of the highly anticipated pageant finals in Indonesia on 28 September, expected to draw two billion viewers’ worldwide.
As part of the pre-pageant festivities, Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort
hosted the Miss World 2013 Golf Tournament
on September 8, 2013. Some 120 participants took on the resort’s award-winning Greg Norman 18-hole championship golf course
to compete for a winner’s trophy and seats at the 2013 Miss World Opening Ceremony
and welcome dinner later that evening.
