Join the Party

Each year the Yak Awards are announced at a lavish party attended by the “Who’s Who” of Bali society.

This year’s awards will be presented at the Vue Beach Club @LV8 Berawa on Friday, September 27, 2013 between 6:00 – 9:00 pm.

Tickets, available on a first-come-first-served basis can be purchased in advance for Rp 750,000 or at the door for Rp. 950,000.

After party passes allow entrance after 9:30 pm and can be purchased for Rp. 250,000.

More than Just Mowtown

This year’s theme is More than Just Motown with attendees encouraged to come dressed in a style reminiscent of the very late 1950s, 1960s and early 1970s. Draw your inspiration from Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, The Supremes, The Marvelettes, and Gladys Knight & the Pips.

Music apropos to the period will be provided by DJ Gus Till and The Jim Larkin Motown Band.

As with past events, food and drink will be copious with culinary sponsorship coming from Anantara Uluwatu, Charlie, Ku De Ta, La Finca, LV8, Merah Putih, Motel Mexicola, Mulia, Oazia Spavodka Lobster Bar, POD chocolate and Teatro Gastroteque. Beverage sponsorship for the evening provided by Kim Crawford Wine, Plaga Wine, Beringer Sparkling, Louis Roederer Champagne, Padron Cafe, Ciroc Vodka and Sagatiba.
