Bali United Against HIV/AIDS (BUAHA) is organizing a 90-minute beach walk on Sunday, December 1, 2013, starting from Hard Rock Café in Central Kuta and ending at Gado-Gado Beach near Jalan Dyhana Pura.

The Beach Walk starts at 08.30 am ending at 10.30 am.

The walk is part  of BUAHA's World AIDS Day celebrations and will mirror similar events being held around the globe on that date.

The beach walk is organized to raise awareness regarding HIV/AIDS in Bali while promoting HIV Testing, safe sex practice, educations and support to those members of the Bali community infected by HIV/AIDS.

BUAHA is a collective effort between several foundations, corporations and members of the community concerned with epidemic of HIV/AIDS on the Island.

Join the BUAHA Beachwalk on December 1, 2013 to show your support and solidarity in efforts to eliminate HIV/AIDS in Bali.

Company, groups and individuals are encouraged to assemble floats and costume promoting messaged to help fight the deadly HIV virus. There is no charge for participation – just the need to bring a desire to stand together with members of the Bali community to demonstrate a commitment to help increase awareness of the need for safe sex and support those in need in our community.

Floats and other displays can be comprised of banners, signs, sandwich boards, posters, balloons, tee shirts . . . anything that helps convey the message.  Participants are encouraged to dress up, create a themed message, play music and bring friends along for a fun morning on the beach to spread the theme: Bali United Against HIV/AIDS.

The first 300 entrants registered on the day will receive a gift bag at the completion of the walk with a prize going to the best float.
