Garuda Says Occupancy on New Mumbai-Bali Service Hits 84%
After two months of initial operation of the Mumbai-Denpasar route by Garuda Indonesia the National Flag Carrier has recorded occupancy levels of 84%.

As reported by Merdeka.com, the director of cargo and commercial operations for the Airline, Sigit Muhartono, said on Saturday, June 2, 2018: “The new route (to Mumbai) that was inaugurated on April 23, 2018 has received a strong response with 1,900 passengers carried in just two months.

Garuda Indonesia is the only Indonesian airline operating direct services between Mumbai and Bali.

Indian tourist arrivals at the end of Q1 2018 represented the third largest source of foreign visitors increasing 60.45% year-on-year with 84,197 Indian travelers recorded.

Currently, Garuda Indonesia operates three flights each week between Mumbai and Bali , Garuda GA 814 leaves Denpasar at 3:50 pm arriving in Mumbai at 8:25 pm. The return flight Garuda GA 815 leaves Mumbai at 9:50 pm landing in Bali the following morning at 7:55 am.

Garuda uses Airbus A-339-200 on the Mumbai service configured to carry 36 business class seats and 186 economy seats.
