Dealing Drugs in Bali Has a Major Downside

Australian Drug Dealer and Girlfriend Sentenced to 5 years and 4 months for Narcotics Dealing.

Agence France-Presse reports that Australian Brendon Luke Johnson(43) has been sentenced to more than five years in prison after being found guilty of dealing cocaine in Bali together with his girlfriend.

12 grams of cocaine seized from the man’s rental home in Bali was accepted as proof of Johnson’s criminality. Police found the drugs after interrogating a local woman captured with cocaine in her possession who subsequently revealed to the police that she had purchased the narcotics from the Australian and his girlfriend.

Johnson (43) and his Indonesian girlfriend, Remi Purwanti (43), will both, but separately, spend the next 5 years 4 month in prison. Police and prosecutors could have charged the couple with criminal narcotics violations punishable by death before a firing squad.
