Som Chai Equatorial Lunch and Fashion Exhibition by Warwick Purser – Monday, April 15, 2019 to Aid Food for Thought Foundation
A special three-course charity Som Chai Equatorial Lunch lunch will take place at the celebrated Som Chai Restaurant in Kerobokan Kelod on Monday, April 15, 2019 to aid Bali Children Foundation’s Food for Thought Scholarships Program.
For the occasion, a three-course lunch at Som Chai incorporating a welcome drink will be prepared by the Saron Group’s celebrity chef Will Meyrick internationally reknowned for incorporating in his cuisine authentic street food culinary tastes and traditions from Arabia, Thai, Cambodia, Malaysia, Vietnam, China and, of course, Indonesia. Highlighting this one-of-a-kind lunch will be the showcasing of Warwick Purser’s Equatorial Collection. Purser, originally from Australia, but now an Indonesian citizen, is known as a true influencer of fashion, design, and native handicrafts. His appearance at Som Chai will be used to spotlight his recent departure into fashion degin using batik cloth created under his exacting tutelage.
A share of proceeds from ticket and fashion sales will go to Bali Children Foundation for the Food for Thought scholarships program. Food for Thought was founded by Sarong Group in cooperations with Métis Restaurant, Indo Wines, The Alilia, Marriott Hotels, The Lovina and Saigon Street to raise funds for hospitality scholarships for Bali’s disadvantaged youth.
Tickets are available at Rp. 550,000 per person and are available OnLine. Seat is limited and tickets are sold on a first-come-first-served basis.
