Direct Flights between Bali and Mumbai Now Available from Garuda Indonesia
The State News Agency Antara reports that the Indonesian National Flag Carrier Garuda Indonesia has declared its intention to increase from two to three the number of round trip weekly flights between Denpasar, Bali and Mumbai, India.

Garuda Indonesia’s new Denpasar-Mumbai flight commenced on Monday, April 23, 2018 with two weekly flights departing Bali at 3:50 pm. The non-stop flight time between Denpasar and Mumbai is approximately 7 hours.

Garuda has signaled that the flight frequency will increase to three in May.

The new flight service is being operated with Airbus 330-200 aircraft with seating for 223 passengers.

Indian visitors to Bali continue to grow at record numbers with an estimated 800 Indian tourists landing in Bali each day.

In 2017, a total of 272,761 Indian tourists visited Bali, an increase of 45.59% over totals for 2016.

India arrivals to Bali made a brisk start to 2018 with 55,530 Indian tourists visiting during the first two-months of year, an increase of 59.08% over the same period in 2017.

Indian tourists now rank as the third largest source of foreign visitors to Bali after the People’s Republic of China and Australia.
