ITDC to Expand Hotel Reach to South Lombok
PT Indonesian Natour Group Declares Intention to Build Hotel at Mandalika – ITDC Lombok
The Jakarta Post reports that the State-owned hotel company PT Indonesian Natour (HIN) had entered into a deal with the State-owned Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) to build a five-star hotel in the Mandalika Complex on the Island of Lombok.
HIN’s president director Iswandi Said the new hotel will be equipped to handle the meeting, incentive, conference and exhibition sector (MICE).
An investor is still being sought by both HIN and ITDC for the Lombok project on a specif block of land that has now been allocated for the proposed property.
The Mandakila Complex is an integrated tourism development in South Lombok that is planned to eventually host 2,485 starred hotel rooms spread across 10 hotels, shopping, dining and recreational facilities including an international street circuit for a MotorGP Mandalika 2021 event.

The ITDC project in Lombok is projected to create 7,500 jobs and serve as a catalyst for tourism in Nusa Tenggara Barat and Lombok. ITDC-Lombok will eventually be host to 10 hotels.
The project is only 17-kilometers from Lombok’s International Airport
HIN has a number of proposed new hotels under development to supplement an existing portfolio of 14 hotels across Java, Sumatra, and Bali.
