Moscow to Bali – Now Three Times a Week

Aeroflot-Rossiya Flying Boeing 777 with 436 Seats between Moscow and Bali.

The Indonesian Ministry of Tourism has welcomed the commencement on Monday, October 29, 2018, of scheduled flights between Moscow and Bali by Rossiya Airlines-Aeroflot using Boeing 777 aircraft.

The thrice-weekly flights carry 436 passenger seats across three classes: Economy, Business and First Class.

As reported by the State News Agency Antara, the Assistant Deputy for Market Development for Europe for the Ministry of Tourism, Agustini Rahayu, confirmed the first flight was 72% full, carrying 316 passengers.

The Ministry issued thanks for supporting the new flight operation to the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Indonesian Embassy in Russia, Angkasa Pura I, Timeslot Management, Air Navigation, the Ngurah Rai Airport Authority, Ngurah Rai Customs, Ngurah Rai Immigration, and other parties who assisted in securing permits for the Moscow-Bali flight operations.

Rahayu said: “We hope that Aeroflot will contribute at least 8,600 Russian tourists by December 2918 is about 7% of the number of targeted Russians to Indonesia."

The Tourism Ministry officials said that through the end of August 2018, a total of 83,438 Russians had visited Indonesia, leaving 43,562 more Russians needed before year’s end to achieve the stated target of 127,000 Russians for the year.
