Nusa Dua Beach Hotel Celebrates 36 Years of Success with an Appreciation Night

On Friday, October 25, 2017, The Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa hosted an “appreciation night” for the travel industry and media celebrating 36 years of the successful operation of the 5-star-diamond resort with 382 guest rooms and suites located within the Indonesian Tourism Development Corporation Nusa Dua Complex.

The evening, hosted by the Resort’s general manager Jamal Hussain together with the senior members of the management team, commenced with a champagne reception overlooking the central courtyard of the 9-hectare property that enjoys an immaculate 200-meter beachfront and is home to 5 restaurants and 4 bars.

With guests and staff wearing black and red clothing, the cocktail reception segued with the opening of the doors of The Kertagosa Ballroom into a memorable evening of fine food, wine, and non-stop entertainment as a troupe of drummers heralded the guests’ entrance on the main stage that remained the focus of an evening of cabaret performance, a fashion show, and a lively musical program presented by the Green Tea Latte Band.

The Hotel’s executive chef prepared a lavish 5-course degustation menu that opened with a fresh garden salad presented in a fried padana cheese basket served with a citrus-honey dressing and topped by a quail egg cooked sunny side up. The appetizer that followed was a piece of delicately-seared tuna loin coated in spices and drizzled in a mint chutney mango relish – all presented atop a citrus-infused pilaf of couscous. A culinary intermezzo came in the form of a Double Consommé accented by a solitary feta cheese tortellini and julienne vegetables. This paved the way for the main course – a succulent serving of slow-roasted Australian tenderloin accompanied by wild mushrooms, baby garden vegetables with a demi-glace reduction incorporating a truffle cream reduction. Ample flows of wine continued throughout the entire meal including the dessert course of Chocolate Mille Feuille of Chocolate Leaves served with a hazelnut mousse, marinated berries, and dragon fruit ice cream.

A dazzling fashion show of statuesque models from Ade Collection - all wearing thematic black and red was one of the highlights of an evening that was memorable, start to finish.

Lavish prizes including a large number of hotel stays and meal vouchers were shared with guests.

Jamal Hussain, the general manager of the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa, thanked the audience for their continuing support of the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and Spa over almost four decades of service while expressing his anticipation to continuing cooperation in the coming years.
