The Experience
Drive towards the west of the island via Munggu with a stop at Pura Sada at the village of Kapal. This temple is one of the public temple, which is important for Balinese Hindu. It was built by the King of Mengwi around 12 century.
The next stop is at one of Balinese compound in Tua Village. You will be also taken for a short walk around the garden behind the house to discover its traditional home farming and plantation. You will have your coffee break in this house at the same time.
On the way to Bedugul, a stop will be made at one of the village to have a look at the local people making the Hindu shrines. Then, into the the jungle of Bedugul for a short drive and or photo stop. You will see the typical rain forest that Bali has!
The trip continues to board a boat and cross the Beratan Lake to see the organic faming and strawberry hunting. The Ulun Danu Temple set on the shone of the lake will be also beautiful scenery on the way. You will be escorted by the guide through the organic faming to get the idea of this wonderful agriculture, processing, distribution, and consumption of organic food. Celebrate the Indonesian way and have "tumpeng" for lunch which will be serve in an organic farm.
Drive back to your place via the beautiful countryside of Petang. A stop will be made at the village, where the village people make the roof of the temple shrine made of palm fibre. You will be back to your place in the afternoon. Nature scenes during this land cruising will surely be the memory of your life.
