Invited to Bali by BALI PROMO, Mr. Ave received an

Some of the highlights of Mr. Ave's comments at the

and seek appointment from Provincial Government Authorities as the lead
marketing authority for Bali Tourism.
> Mr. Ave supported local calls for "open skies"
in Bali in order to overcome current shortfalls in tourist arrivals to
> Mr. Ave called on all elements of the Tourism industry
to acknowledge the key role played by Balinese culture in the island's
products and to spare no efforts in protecting and fostering the development
of local cultural values.
> Mr. Ave called for BALI PROMO and the Provincial
Government to work closely with local non-governmental groups in the
development of tourism policy and practices.
During his 2 day visit to Bali, Mr. Ave also met
