Fourteen international cruise vessels will visit the North Bali Port of Celukan Bawang in Buleleleng Regency in 2025.
One of these ships is the MV Celebrity Millennium, which is scheduled to visit North Bali thrice during January 2025.
The Chief of Tourism for the Regency of Buleleng, Gede Dody Sukma Oktiva Askara, speaking while welcoming hundreds of MV Celebrity Millennium cruise passengers on Saturday, 04 January 2025, confirmed that 14 cruise ships will visit the Port of Celukan Bawang this year.
Dody Sukma Oktiva Askara quoted by BeritaBali.com, said that before the ship’s arrival, preparatory steps and arrangements had been taken by coordinating with area tourist destinations.
Sukma said the growing number of cruise ship visits to North Bali serves to confirm the potential of Celukan Bawang as a cruise ship port of call and the ability of cruise tourism to positively impact the local economy.
The MV Celebrity Millennium cruise ship arrived in Celeukan Bawang with 2,219 passengers who contributed to the tourism economy by purchasing souvenirs, tours, transport, shore-based consumables, and cultural performances.
