As reported by travel.detik.com, the Immigration Detention Center (Rudenim) in Denpasar, Bali, accommodated 47 foreign nationals from January to June 2023.
Babay Baenullah, the head of the Immigration Detention Center, said that most foreigners housed at the Detention Center involve immigration visa violations for overstays.
Continuing, Babay estimates that of the 47 people awaiting deportation, the largest group is comprised of Russian nationals (7), followed by Nigerians (6), Chinese (4), and Columbians (4). Also staying at the Detention Center are two each from Iran, Egypt, Germany, Australia, Pakistan, USA, and Palestine. The remaining nationalities found at the detention center are Malaysians, UK nationals, Turks, Italians, Brazilians, Dutch, Spanish, French, Vietnamese, Japanese, and Ivory Coast,
