Kompas reports that The World Travel Awards have named the Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort in South Bali as “Asia’s Leading Family Villa Resort 2026.”
Often called the “Oscars of the Travel Industry,” The World Travel Awards are presented, coincidentally, alongside The World Travel Market (WTM) in London, UK. Because of the close timing, industry leaders, ministers, and CEOs attend The World Travel Awards in the same city during travel market week.
Within its designated category, Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort outperformed other nominees as Asia’s Leading Family Villa Resort – in a circle of competition that included:
- Furama Villas Danang (Vietnam)
- Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson (Malaysia)
- Park Hyatt Sanya Sunny Bay Resort (China).
Located on Bali’s southernmost peninsula, the Resort is surrounded by emerald-green rice paddies and wild rainforest—making Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort an ideal retreat. It is situated a short drive from Bali’s Ngurah Rai Airport.
The Resort features 85 rooms, suites, and villas, all defined by elegant, contemporary design and complemented by traditional Indonesian artwork and handicrafts. Nature lovers can stay in suites nestled among the trees for a serene, immersive experience. Alternatively, guests can indulge in the luxury of a private villa, complete with an infinity pool overlooking the forest and a personal butler to attend to every need.
Services and Facilities at Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort:
Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort offers two heated infinity pools, a yoga deck, a fitness center, and a club for children and teenagers. You can also fill your days with Indonesian arts-and-crafts activities or cooking classes. Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort has three leading restaurants and bars:

- Sulang is an open-air, adults-only poolside bar that offers views of misty valleys and a stylish Balinese atmosphere.
